Our Philosophy
Someday is a conscious brand based out of Victoria, Australia.
Our mission is to make homes comfy, by providing products that are carefully made using ingredients in their most natural form, with no additives or nasties that don’t serve a purpose.
Our candles are all handmade in small batches, ensuring the least amount of waste is produced.
All our vessels and containers are intended to be reused and repurposed, leaving a lighter footprint on the earth.
We believe that everything consumed can be done so in the most sustainable and conscious way, if not today then someday.
This is Someday.

Sustainability
Our packaging for our products is simple. We use sturdy kraft boxes, with labels that are approved by the Forest Stewardship Council, which demonstrates that it is sourced from responsibly managed forests.
We believe that there isn’t a need to showcase our products in fancy printed, expensive boxes, when it is an added cost to the consumer.
All our online orders are packed in reused boxes, bubblewrap, peanuts and air pockets which have been saved (some might say hoarded) from supplier orders.
We also use corrugated bubblewrap and biodegradable packaging peanuts in our orders, when it is necessary.
Transparency
We endeavour to be transparent in what is in our products.
We love to make clean, minimal and no fuss products without any nasties. Every product description is in as much detail as possible, so the consumer can make up their mind if the product is suited for them.
We have a dedicated product page which outlines how our products are made and what ingredients are involved in creating them.
Our Story
I started the planning process for Someday back in 2018, with the determination to shake up the candle industry, by creating products with good ingredients that were low impact to the environment.
After becoming continuously frustrated whenever looking at the ingredients list on candles, I knew I needed to create one without any nasties, while keeping the design simple, so in the end it’s a product which fits easily into every home.
In September 2019, I finally launch our first Scented Soy Candle, and not long after our first Beeswax Candle.
For our Scented Soy Candles, I knew I wanted to use 100% biodegradable Soy wax, which has not been tested on animals, lead-free cotton wicks and fragrance oil which uses ingredients that throw a strong scent into the air for a longer lasting scented experience.
When I started to experiment with Beeswax, there was a lot of trial and error with it. Compared to Soy, Beeswax is a very dense type of wax, which doesn’t have the same melting or pouring techniques and temperatures as Soy. Back in 2018, there wasn’t a lot of information on the internet to troubleshoot, so once I figured out how to use this wax, the next step was to find out how to create my own unique moulds for our range.
Finding someone to create my moulds was a bit of a task, this occurred at the start of Covid, so there was a lot of back and forth via email and sending prototypes via the (very slow) postal service, as my mould maker was located in NSW. She was fantastic at educating me and being truthful on how they would turn out, so I trusted her completely. Our first collaboration was the Moonlit Candlesticks & Pillars, which turned out to be a massive hit! Then came our Twist, Wonder, Wave and so on…. I still use her to make our moulds to this day.
As I continue to create and bring out new products, I will always follow our core values that I had set out for this business. I am a one woman show behind the scenes here, juggling this business with a full time job (have always had one since the start), I really hope you love and enjoy all of Someday’s products, thanks for coming on the journey with me.
